Abstract Submission

Submission Guidelines

The KALC-IC Organizing Committee cordially invites you to submit abstracts. Submitters are asked to choose their preferred presentation type and abstract categories when using the submission system. Before making your selection, please scan the entire list for the most appropriate abstract category.
The Scientific Committee will review the submitted abstracts, and those accepted will be presented either as Oral Presentation or Poster Exhibition.

Please read the guidelines carefully before submitting your abstract.

- An abstract can be submitted for presentation at the conference in one of the following categories

  • Advanced Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer / Chemotherapy / Targeted Therapy / Immunotherapy

Submission Guidelines

  • Abstracts should be written in English and submitted through the conference website.
  • Select your preferred type for your presentation. The Scientific Committee reserves the right to make the final decision on the mode of presentation.
  • The Presenting Author of the abstract should be one of the authors listed in the abstract.
  • Name and Affiliation of Co-author(s) and confirmation that all authors have consented to the submission.
  • The submitter should be the first author of the paper.
  • The Presenting Author must register for the conference.

※ Notice of Encore Abstract ※

  • The presented abstract can be submitted but it should contain an updated data. (The Scientific Committee will be judged.)
  • The abstract should be presented as an abstract and it has not been accepted or published as a paper.
  • The Encore abstract should be marked on the abstract or presentation file (such as Poster or Oral Presentation Slide).
  • The presenter should be guaranteed that there are no copyright issues with the previous presentation.

Abstract Format

- Please adhere to the following formatting guidelines when submitting abstracts for the conference.

Abstract Format

  • Title:
    • The Title should not exceed 20 words (First letter of each word in uppercase, except for articles, prepositions, and conjunctions).
    • Capitalize the first letter of the sentence only.
  • Authors:
    • Name of Presentation Author who will act as the main contact for this abstract.
    • Do not include degrees or titles.
  • Affiliations:
    • Each author should be listed by department, institution, city and country.
  • Body of Abstract:
    • Word Limit: 300 words (excluding the Title, Authors, and Affiliations).
    • The abstract should be structured chronologically into 4 sections
    • An Acceptable Structure of an abstract must consist of the following components.
    Background/Aims A statement of the hypothesis or research question.
    Methods An explanation of the study design and experimental methods used.
    Results A concise summary of the major findings of the experiment or study.
    Sufficient data must be provided to permit evaluation by the reviewers and public reading the abstract.
    Statements such as “The date will be discussed” are not acceptable.
    Conclusions Summary of the overall findings and the importance of the study
    • Graphics and Tables can be submitted as part of an abstract. The maximum file size of each graphic/tables is 500KB.

Notification of Acceptance

  • Abstract Acceptance: Mid August , 2024
  • All submitted abstracts will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee according to the reviewing procedures.
  • Notifications of acceptance will be sent by e-mail to corresponding and presenting authors.

Withdrawal of Abstract

  • If the presenting author of an accepted abstract does not register by October 7, 2024, the abstract will be automatically withdrawn from the final program.
  • If you presenting author of an accepted abstract wishes to withdraw an abstract, please notify the secretariat (scientific.kalcic@innon.co.kr) by e-mail.
